Pastor Devanice’s Journey for Truth Podcast
The purpose of this Podcast is to share my journey as I ”unlearn things I’ve learned” (quote by Apostle Greg J. Davis). So much of what I know is based on what I’ve been taught and my processing of that. However, as my relationship with the Holy Spirit has expanded, there are things I am unlearning so I can be retaught by Holy Spirit. I am learning more about religious practices, school teachings, history gaps, systems of this world, etc. that have formed in me untruths, and beliefs contrary to the Kingdom of God. Did you know that some of our founding fathers were believers, and were passionate about this country being founded upon biblical principles? Did you know our government was never supposed to be a democracy, but a republich? Did you know that our government is no longer ”a government of the people, by the people, and for the people”? What do we do with that? Did you know that God created a world for us that would provide everything we needed? If we go back to the garden, if we go back to bartering, we won’t need the fake currency of this world. We could dismantle poverty for ourselves and others. Did you know religion and relationship with God are two different things? Did you know that there are things that are taught across the pulpit that aren’t always accurate? It is not always intentional. Pastors were taught by someone as well. It is why the word tells us that we must try the spirit by the spirit. Did you know that many of the holidays we celebrate have pagan roots? Did you know that our identity was predetermined, and He wants to reveal it to you? These are questions I never asked before now. Something is changing. He is changing us to be in His image. We can no longer hold on to what we’ve been taught as an excuse. It is time for us to read for ourselves and ask Holy Spirit to reveal Heaven’s truths to us. Join me in the journey to answers, questions, and more questions and answers. LOL!
